On-View Arrests, Warrants


First-Degree Assault: On June 12, 2019, Deputy Andrew Budd responded to the Big Lots store in Lexington Park for the report of threats. The victim advised that he was threatened by Robert Deandre Conner, 22 of Lexington Park, with a machete. Deputy Budd and State Trooper Ditoto responded to River Bay townhomes in Lexington Park and located Conner’s vehicle at a vacant apartment, where a machete was observed in plain view between the driver’s seat and center console. Conner admitted to being at the Big Lots store and speaking with the victim, but said he never touched the machete. Conner was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown and charged with First-Degree Assault, Armed Robbery, Second-Degree Assault and Third-Degree Burglary. Drug Paraphernalia: On June 12, 2019, Cpl. Michael Worrey made a traffic stop in Lexington Park. The driver, Shawn Michael Clark, 27 of Clements, stepped out of the vehicle and placed a glass smoking device on the tool box in the bed of the truck. Clark advised the paraphernalia belonged to him and stated, “You can go ahead and charge me with this.” Clark was arrested on an open warrant and issued a criminal citation for the possession of paraphernalia. Controlled Dangerous Substance: On June 14, 2019, Deputy Andrew Budd assisted the Vice Narcotics Division in executing a search warrant at 39390 Sunnyside Road in Clements. Pamela Michelle Phillips, 49 of Waldorf, was found to be in possession of a metal homemade smoking device containing suspected crack cocaine, a shortened red straw containing suspected heroin and a clear pill-like capsule which she stated contained heroin. All of the items were located in her vehicle. Phillips was arrested for three counts of CDS Not Marijuana and two counts of CDS Paraphernalia. Case # 24315-19

Controlled Dangerous Substance: On June 14, 2019, Deputy Andrew Budd assisted the Vice Narcotics Division in executing a search warrant at 39410 Sunnyside Road. Agnes Louise Dickerson, 55 of Clements, was located in a vehicle. A K-9 scan was conducted and positive alert was given for the presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Inside of the vehicle, an amount of suspected crack cocaine was located in addition to a metal smoking device containing what appeared to be burnt residue consistent with crack cocaine. Dickerson was charged with CDS Not Marijuana and CDS Paraphernalia. Case # 24315-19

Controlled Dangerous Substance: On June 14, 2019, Deputy Andrew Budd assisted the Vice Narcotics Division with the execution of a search warrant at 39410 Sunnyside Road in Clements. Demetrius Deandre Young, 29 of Mechanicsville, was in the driver seat of a vehicle when he fled the scene on foot when approached by deputies. Young was quickly apprehended, and a search of the area revealed an amount of suspected crack cocaine in a sufficient quantity indicative of distribution. In 2013, Young pled guilty in federal court to conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine, which he is currently on parole for those charges. Following the search warrant, Young was charged with CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute and CDS Possession Not Marijuana. Case # 24315-19

Controlled Dangerous Substance: On June 11, 2019, Cpl. Vincent Pontorno conducted a traffic stop for an unregistered vehicle on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. The operator of the vehicle, William Lamont Barnes, 36 of Lexington Park, was wanted on an active warrant through Calvert County. Barnes was placed under arrest and during a search of his person, several baggies and pills containing suspected Controlled Dangerous Substances were located, including suspected crack cocaine, synthetic marijuana and oxycodone hydrochloride. Barnes was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with four counts of CDS Possession Not Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Case # 33773-19
