2018 Citizens Academy Graduates

                         Graduates of the 2018  St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy is a free eight week course, designed to give an inside look into our day-to-day operations. Come join the fun and reserve your seat to learn exciting facts about the K-9 Unit, Emergency Services Team, Forensics/Crime Lab, Uniform Patrol, Administration, Criminal Investigations Division, Communications/911, Community Policing (COPS Unit), and Corrections, just to name a few.

Anyone over the age of eighteen interested in attending the Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy is welcome to apply.  Complete an application and return it to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office in person, by mail, fax to (301) 475-6865, or email Valerie.Guy@stmarysmd.com. The application will be processed and you will be contacted when the class is scheduled to begin.  Applications can be obtained from Sheriff's Office Headquarters, or by contacting the Executive Coordinator Valerie Guy at (301) 475-4200 extension *1910.
