The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s
Office is seeking the identity of persons pictured. On January 24, 2018, the two individuals
entered the Leonardtown McKays Food & Drug, located on Merchants Lane. Once
inside the store the pair separated and purchased small items with a $100 bill;
while the cashiers were making change, the suspects then asked cashiers to make
change for other $100 bills. Ultimately,
the cashiers became confused and the suspects were able to obtain well over the
amount of change they should have received.
