5/20/2017

Burglary – Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence in the 26000 block of Wakefield Lane in Mechanicsville. Nothing appeared to be missing or stolen. Cpl. Flerlage is investigating the case. CASE# 26539-17

Burglary – During the evening of May 18, unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole property in the 22000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. Dep. McClure is investigating the case. CASE# 26575-15

5/21/2017

Between 5/17 and 5/21, unknown suspect(s) entered a garage and stole property in the 21000 block of Pegg Road in Lexington Park. Dep. Bare is investigating the case. CASE# 26821-17

Burglary – Unknown suspect(s) entered “On Your Own” located in the 41000 block of Fenwick Street in Leonardtown. There were no signs of forced entry. Cpl. Flerlage is investigating the case. CASE# 26700-17

Property Destruction – At approximately 11:10 p.m., Cpl. Johnson was traveling southbound on Chaptico Road in the area of Timothy Court when something struck his driver’s side hood and front windshield. When Cpl. Johnson pulled over and examined the vehicle, he found eggs had been thrown at his patrol car. His efforts to locate the suspects were unsuccessful. Cpl. Johnson is continuing the investigation.

5/22/2017

Burglary – Unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter an outside storage shed at Sweet Frog in California, Maryland. It does not appear the suspects were able to gain entry and nothing was stolen from inside the storage shed. Dep. Bush is investigating the case. CASE# 26895-17

Animal Cruelty – The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported incident where a complainant saw a social media post circulating on Facebook describing an incident that took place on May 19 near La Quinta Inn in California. According to the post, an individual witnessed a subject causing harm to a kitten. The case is being investigated by Cpl. J. Kirkner. CASE# 26876-17


Burglary – Unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the  23000 block of Dahlia Circle in the Wildewood Neighborhood. DFC. Schultz is continuing the investigation. CASE# 27025-17
