On-View Arrests 

4-9-2017 – Theft – Deputy G. Muschette responded to the Wal-Mart in California for a reported theft. The investigation revealed the suspect, Brittany Nicole Hughes, age 19, of Lexington Park, stole items totaling less than $100 from Walmart. She was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Theft Less Than $100. CASE# 19241-17

4-7-2017 – Violation of Protective Order – While on patrol, Deputy J. Smith made contact with a victim who had an active protective order against a suspect who was with and communicating with the victim. The suspect, Casey Lynn Beach, age 32, of California was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Violation of (Out of State) Protective Order. 4-12-2017 – Theft – Corporal P. Handy responded to the Rite Aid in Charlotte Hall for a reported theft in progress. The investigation revealed the suspect, Amanda Marie Stewart, age 31, of Mechanicsville, attempted to conceal multiple items in her purse and leave the store without paying. The items were recovered and Stewart was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft Less than $1000. CASE# 19686-17

3-25-2017 - James Roshawn Garrett, age 35, of Hollywood, was charged via Criminal Summons for Second Degree Assault by Deputy M. Beyer. CASE#7917-17
