First Responder Drill to be held at Great Mills High School

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with local rescue squads and fire departments, will host a scenario-based training exercise at Great Mills High School, on Saturday, June 25 from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m. During the training scenario, all eastbound lanes of Great Mills Road will be shut down from Chancellors Run Road to Tower Lane. 

The drill is not open to the public; however, the public should expect an abundance of law enforcement, Fire, EMS personnel and related equipment around the Great Mills High School and Carver Elementary School campuses.
