Arrests 3-30-15

Trespass - On March 27, 2015, Deputy Potter responded to the St. John's School located on St. John's Road in Hollywood, for the report of a suspicious male on the swing in the playground. Deputy Potter located the male subject identified as Steven Thomas Miller, age 37, of Great Mills, on the swing. Miller refused to answer Deputy Potter and would only sit on the swing while staring into space. The school principal had told Miller to leave several times prior to calling police and he refused. As a result, the school was placed on locked down. Deputy Potter advised Miller to leave or he would be arrested. Miller ignored Deputy Potter and refused to get off of the swing. Deputy Potter grabbed Miller's arm in an attempt to take him into custody at which time he resisted. After a brief struggle with multiple deputies, Miller was taken into custody. Miller was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Trespass - Private Property, Resisting Arrest, Disruption of School Activities. CASE #17182-15

Assault - On March 27, 2015, Deputy Muschette responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park, for an assault. The victim alleged, suspect Justin Tripplett Tolliver, age 32, of Lexington Park, bit the victim's hand during an argument. Deputy Muschette observed fresh injury on the victim's hand. Tolliver was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. CASE #17230-15

Theft of Motor Vehicle - On March 28, 2015, at 4:14 PM, Deputy Foor responded to Three Notch Road in the area of Shady Mile Drive in California, for the report of a disabled vehicle. Deputy Foor contacted the driver, identified as Robert John Loving, age 36, of Great Mills, who advised the vehicle ran out of gas. While running the vehicle registration, Deputy Foor learned the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Loving was operating was stolen from a rental company at BWI airport. Loving was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with Motor Vehicle - Unlawful Taking and Failure to Return Rented Vehicle. CASE #17451-15

Child Abuse - On March 30, 2015, at 1:15 AM, Deputy Muschette responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for a reported assault. The victim alleged suspect Donna Marie Vincent, age 44, of Lexington Park, struck the victim several times all over the body with an audio visual cord. Deputy Muschette observed fresh injuries all over the victim's body. Vincent was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Child Abuse and 2nd Degree Assault. CASE #17738-15
